מחאת בואזיצ'י – חלק ג'
פנינה מוצפי האלר, פרופ׳ לאנתרופולוגיה מבן גוריון ונשיאת האגודה האנתרופולוגית הישראלית, נמצאת בימים אלו בחצי שבתון באוניברסיטת בּוֹאַזִיצִ'י שבאינסטמבול, תורכיה, אחת האוניברסיטות המובילות במדינה, הניצבת כבר כמה חודשים בלב מחאה של סטודנטים ומרצים כנגד מה שהם תופסים כנסיון להשתלטות של השלטון על האקדמיה. בדוח השלישי על המחאה המתמשכת מקמפוס אוניברסיטת בואזיצ'י באיסטנבול יש כמה התפתחויות חדשות שמאירות באור חדש את מהלך המחאה שנמשכת, לפי הספירה כבר 300 ימים. לחלק א׳, לחלק ב׳
ראשית, לפני שבועיים נשבר מחסום של אלימות ומאות שוטרים שהיו מוצבים בכניסה לקמפוס כבר שבועות, נכנסו לתוך הקמפוס בהזמנתו של הרקטור שנגד מינויו מתמקדת המחאה. כניסת הכוח המשטרתי לתוך הקמפוס שברה מהלך די מתמשך של מחאה שקטה שאותה תיעדתי בדוחות הקודמים. השוטרים תלשו את אוהל המחאה שהסטודנטים הציבו ואסרו עשרות תלמידים. האירוע דווח במדיה הלאומית. הגעתי לקמפוס יומיים לאחר האירוע האלים והקמפוס נראה רגוע, כאילו לא היו דברים מעולם. צילמתי סטודנטים יושבים בפינות פסטורליות ברחבי הקמפוס.
הקולגות שלי במחלקה לסוציולוגיה ואנתרופולוגיה היו המומים אך התעקשו שהאירוע לא ישנה את המופע היומי של המחאה השקטה שלהם. כל יום בדיוק ב 12:15 הם המשיכו לבצע את הטקס השקט והמכבד של עמידה שקטה עם הגב לבניין המנהלה. עטויים בגלימות המקצועיות שלהם בשקט מוחלט ובסופו של הרגע הממושך של שקט החלו במחיאות הכפיים שלהם שאליהם מצטרפים הצופים בשולי הרחבה. ביום שישי האחרון, כמו בכל יום שישי, הקריאו אנשי הסגל את העצומה הפוליטית המעדכנת את אירועי השבוע החולף. ההצהרה (שאותה תרגמתי מהמקור הטורקי) התעקשה : Despite all kinds of imposition, we continue our struggle for a democratic and autonomous university with the same determination as on the first day. ביום חמישי ב 4 לנובמבר ערכתי ריאיון ממושך עם האנתרופולוגית פרופסור אייפר בארטו ג'נדאן (Ayfer Bartu Candan) כדי לשמוע ממנה על האופנים שבהם אנשי הסגל האקדמי מתמודדים עם המשבר של החיים באוניברסיטה החווה סדרה של הגבלות הולכות ומחמירות של החופש האקדמי שלהם. פרופ' בארטו ג'נדאן עמדה בחזית האקטיביזם ביחד עם בן זוגה שהיה אחד הראשונים שפוטרו על ידי הרקטור שנגד מינויו התחילה כל המחאה. בן זוגה הוא קולנוען מוכר שלימד באוניברסיטה במשרה ללא קביעות בחוג לקולנוע דוקומנטרי. ג'אן ג'אנדאן (Can Candan) פוטר לפני כמה חודשים אך התעקש להופיע כל יום בקמפוס ולתעד במצלמתו את אירוע המחאה היומי של הסגל והפיץ את הסרטונים שערך במדיה בטורקיה. בשיחה שערכתי איתו בתחילת נובמבר הצהיר מר ג'אנדאן שהפיטורים לא יעצרו אותו ושהוא מתכוון להמשיך וללמד את תלמידיו גם ללא האישור הרשמי של הנהלת האוניברסיטה. אבל הדברים המשיכו להתדרדר ובתחילת נובמבר כשביקש להיכנס לקמפוס בלוויית אישתו עצרו אותו השומרים בשער הכניסה. "זהו אקט לא חוקי בעליל" אמרה לי האנתרופולוגית שהייתה נסערת במהלך הריאיון שקיימתי איתה. "אני אמורה לעבוד. לסיים הגשת הצעת מחקר גדולה, ללמד את השיעורים שלי", אומרת לי חברתי אליף Elif וכל מה שאנו עושים זה להשתתף בשעות אינסופיות של ישיבות מחלקה שבהם אנו מנסים להתמודד עם הגזרות הלא-דמוקרטיות הנוחתות עלינו כל בוקר מחדש."
ב 5 לנובמבר מתארגן אירוע גדול ומיוחד המציין 300 ימים למחאה. הפעם מצטרפים על הדשא בכיכר המרכזית של הקמפוס הירוק גם קבוצת הבוגרים של האוניברסיטה לדורותיהם וגם נאומים מיוחדים שהכינו הסטודנטים. האירוע שאליו אני מגיעה עם תלמידתי ג'נינה איילה מלו המבקרת בעיר במסגרת מחקר שהיא עורכת מרגיש כמו מסיבה ענקית עם בלונים, פרחים המחולקים לכולם ושלטים המצהירים "אנחנו לא מפחדים, אנחנו לא ניכנע. [חתום] משפחות אוניברסיטת בואזיצ'י":
